Naveen Chaubal is a Louisville-based filmmaker whose work uncovers the profound in the not so quiet places of suburbia. He’s a fellow of Film Independent’s Project: Involve and BAVC’s MediaMaker programs. Naveen's work has screened at Hot Docs, the DGA, Tribeca Festival, CPH:DOX, Speed Art Museum, and online on NoBudge. Naveen has been supported by ITVS, the Southern Documentary Fund, Sundance Institute, New Orleans Film Society, and Louisville Visual Art.
Pinball is a coming-of-age journey that follows a 19-year-old boy in suburban Louisville, Kentucky as he navigates adulthood in the shadow of a war that displaced his family from their Iraqi homeland.
