Andrew Nadkarni is a queer multiracial filmmaker based in Brooklyn. His directorial debut, Between Earth & Sky, won Best Short at Big Sky and Hot Springs, was IDA shortlisted, received two Critic Choice Documentary Award nominations, and premiered on POV in October. A 2023 BRIClab Artist in Residence, he integrates sustainable community care into his filmmaking process, exploring generational stories within diaspora communities. Andrew recently produced the narrative feature Actual People, which is now streaming on MUBI.
