Glenda Nicácio has a degree in Cinema and Audiovisual Studies from the Federal University of Recôncavo da Bahia (UFRB). She is a founding partner of the independent production company Rosza Filmes, founded in 2011 along with Ary Rosa. Her first feature film Café com Canela (2017), with Ary Rosa, received major festival awards, screened commercially, and was distributed by Arco. She is also the director of the films Ilha (with Ary Rosa, 2018), Until the End (with Ary Rosa, 2020), Voltei (with Ary Rosa, 2020), I don't walk alone (2021), Mugunzá (with Ary Rosa, 2021) and Na Rédea Curta (with Ary Rosa, 2022).
