Mecky Creus is an award-winning director of photography who has worked with artists and brands like Marc Anthony, Young Thug, Juanes and Intocable, alongside HBO Max, Amazon, Apple, Salesforce, Adidas, Thrasher Magazine to name a few.  He approaches the camera with a naturalistic, verité-style realism, which he honed early in his career documenting the skateboarders of San Juan, Puerto Rico, his hometown. Amidst the bustle of the city, he learned to be nimble, adaptable, able to turn on a dime, necessary skills when capturing the urban chaos of skating.  That flexibility developed into the foundation of his cinematic style: flowing easily between scripted and documentary settings, between English and Spanish languages, and between narrative and commercial projects. A passionate and dedicated storyteller, his work celebrates diverse cultures and perspectives.
