Through the voices of patients, families, doctors, and nurses in a Oakland, California hospital, The Waiting Room provides a dramatic look at our country’s health care system. The film is directed and produced by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Peter Nicks.
Following the screening, there will a panel discussion with: N’Jeri Eaton - Associate Producer, The Waiting Room;Denise C. Soares, R.N., M.A.- Executive Director of Harlem Hospital Center and the Renaissance Health Care Network; and Dr. Tonya N. Walker - Emergency Medicine Physician at Columbia University Medical Center.
